Questions you may have

Can we leave our children with you?

Sure, you should only leave your children alone with me in the same way you would leave them alone if I was not there. I am not a babysitter and don’t forget your children don’t really know me, so I don’t know what they are allowed or not to do,  I will be photographing your children in times that they would normally play by themselves or with siblings. I will not stop them if they are doing something forbidden or crazy, I will take photos of it (unless it is something threatening to their life)

Are you going to publish our pictures?

I am always happy to share my work, but my first priority is to meet your wants. You have all your pictures in your private online gallery, I will only publish pictures you are good with me publishing, I will ask you if there is any you would like to keep private.

What do I wear, how should be prepared for the session?

I ask you NOT to go out of your normal ways, clothing you would normally wear, regular activities that you know your kids enjoy, just think of what you love doing with our family, the most regular Activities and routines. Just be yourself and let me do the rest.

Will you tell me what to do?

This is no portrait session and therefor I will be completely hands off in terms of guidance or direction.However I will make an attempt to make environmental portraits without you realizing I am doing so; or If you request a family portrait I can dedicate 10 min of your session to do so.

Do you use flash?

For the most of time I prefer to work using natural light, so I prefer not to use flash, but flash can enhance the photographs in a very  low-light situations. In that case the flash would never be directly pointed at you, but rather be bounced from a wall or the ceiling. It’s important to understand that in a low-light situation without adequate light from a flash or some other source, graininess may result.

When will I receive my photographs?

There is a previous selection of images and then each photo is hand-edited by me as part of my creative process. Your photos will be ready for you in 4-6 weeks after the session.
